Hyd: Mother’s health key to healthy family, says Dr. Shilpi Reddy

Hyderabad, May 9 (UNI) K. Shilpi Reddy, Clinical Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at KIMS Cuddles here, today stressed the importance of prioritising maternal health, stating that a healthy mother is the foundation of a healthy family.
Ahead of Mother’s Day, Dr. Shilpi Reddy said the occasion should not only be celebrated with greetings and gifts but also serve as an opportunity to reflect on the health and well-being of mothers.
She observed that many women tend to neglect their own health while caring for families, raising children and managing household responsibilities, leading to long-term health complications due to irregular meals, lack of rest and ignoring routine medical check-ups.
