Hyd: Five online gaming frauders held for cheating through fake gaming platforms

Hyderbad, Oct 8 (UNI) The Cyber Crime Polive have arrested five accused persons for cheating the public through fake gaming platforms.
The Cyber Crime Police along with SOT, Cyberabad arrested the accused involved in online gaming frauds by supplying bank accounts and SIM cards to a cyber gang. The gang manipulated innocent victims through fake gaming platforms showing unreal profits and collected large sums of money, said Cyberabad DCP (Cyber Crimes) B.Sai Sri and SOT DCP shoban Kumar in a joint press conference here on Wednesday.
The arrested accused are -- Doppalapudi Naveen Kumar, Vankadri Sandeep Kumar, Chintalapati Prudhvi Ramaraju, Chintalapati Pavan Venkata Naga Bharadwaj, and Mamidisetti Ramanjaneyulu, they said that the accused operated through Telegram and WhatsApp groups, supplying over 120 bank accounts for fraudulent transactions.
