Hyd: BRAOU VC Chakrapani stresses importance of institutional development plans for Universities

Hyderabad, May 18 (UNI) Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University Vice-Chancellor Ghanta Chakrapani said the Institutional Development Plan (IDP) is crucial for universities and would play a key role in transforming the institution into a comprehensive digital educational university.
Addressing the “Education Week” celebrations on the theme “Innovation, Inclusion, Institutional Excellence and Outreach”, Prof Chakrapani said the university had formulated an Institutional Development Plan after a detailed study and its systematic implementation would help the university achieve higher standards of recognition while laying a strong foundation for future growth.
He observed that the university is currently in its fifth decade of operations and said the present phase could be termed the “Decade of Transformation”.
