Hyd: Baby born on TGSRTC bus gets free lifetime pass

Hyderabad, Apr 21 (UNI) In a heartwarming gesture, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has announced a free lifetime bus pass for a baby girl born on board one of its buses and one-year free travel in deluxe and super luxury services for the ASHA worker who helped deliver the baby.

The remarkable incident occurred on April 15 on the Hyderabad–Kollapur route, when a pregnant woman, Suvarna, began experiencing labour pains while travelling. With the quick thinking and assistance of ASHA activist Malli Kantamma, conductor Raj Kumar, and private hire driver Venugopal, the bus was halted near Adirala village in Pedda Kothapalli mandal, and passengers were disembarked to create space.
