Hungary rejects European Commission’s plans to phase out import of Russian gas

St Petersburg/Budapest, June 19 (UNI) Hungary has unanimously rejected the European Commission's plan to abandon Russian gas, stating that it would be a step back in diversifying energy sources, explained Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto on Thursday, on sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2025.

Earlier this week, European Energy Commissioner Dan Jorgensen said that the European Commission had proposed to completely abandon Russian fuel by the end of 2027.

Thimphu, (Bhutan), Nov 11 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that the "conspirators" behind the deadly blast at Delhi's Red Fort "won't be spared," assuring that the government is taking the attack "very seriously."
"Our agencies will get to the bottom of this conspiracy. The conspirators behind this will not be spared. All those responsible will be brought to justice," he said while speaking in Bhutan's Thimphu where he arrived for a two-day state visit.
