Hrithik Roshan grows emotional as 'War 2' wraps filming

Mumbai, July 9 (UNI) Bollywood's premier action icon Hrithik Roshan grew visibly emotional as filming concluded for his espionage thriller 'War 2'.
The actor, who is known for pushing physical and emotional limits in his roles, marked the end of the shoot with an evocative note that captured both exhaustion and pride.
Sharing a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram, which captured the film's cast and crew gathered around a celebratory cake, Roshan wrote, "Feeling a mixed bag of emotions as the cameras stopped rolling for #War2. 149 days of relentless chase, action, dance, blood, sweat, injuries... and it was all WORTH IT!"
Roshan expressed deep admiration for the film director Ayan Mukerji, producer Aditya Chopra, and co-stars Kiara Advani and Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Junior.
Tagging NTR Jr, he said "sir it has been an honour to work alongside you and create something so special together."
He told Kiara, "I'm so excited for the world to witness the lethal side of you, you've been spectacular to share screen with".
Added Roshan, "I cannot wait for you all to witness the incredible cinematic vision of Adi & Ayan!! To the entire cast & crew of War 2, Thank you for sharing your brilliance and giving it your all every single day."
He concluded the emotional post by referring to his character Major Kabir Dhaliwal. "Lastly, it's always bitter-sweet to call it a wrap for Kabir, it will take a couple of days to feel like myself again. Now onto the journey of presenting our film to you all on August 14th, 2025"
The film is slated for a theatrical release on August 14, 2025.
