HPU signs MoU with Indian Army to foster collaborative R&D initiatives

Shimla, Nov 12 (UNI) A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, and the Indian Army in the presence of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to foster collaborative research and development initiatives.
Brigadier Anurag Pandey signed the MoU on behalf of the Indian Army while Prof Mahavir Singh, Vice-Chancellor represented HPU.
The Chief Minister said, “The agreement marks the beginning of a synergic partnership between the Army and HPU aimed at promoting collaborative research and development in diverse fields.”

Addressing the 'Jan Sankalp Sammelan' at Paddal Ground in Mandi, he outlined the challenges faced by the government over the last three years and the efforts made to steer the state through economic stress, political instability and repeated natural calamities.
