HP: SC Commission Chairman, members meet family of deceased student Pallavi

Dharamshala, Jan 15 (UNI) Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh State Scheduled Caste Commission Kuldeep Kumar, along with members Advocate Vijay Kumar and Advocate Digvijay Malhotra, on Thursday met the parents of Pallavi, a Dalit student of Government College, Dharamshala, who died on December 26 after alleged ragging and harassment by fellow classmates.
The Chairman and members, who met the parents at Siddhbari, assured the bereaved family of all possible support to ensure justice for their daughter.
They said the case is being investigated thoroughly to ensure a fair and transparent probe so that all facts come to light and the judicial process is strengthened. They reiterated that the Commission stands firmly with the grieving family in this difficult time and is committed to securing justice.
