HP: Police implement stringent security measures after series of alleged threats ahead of I Day celebrations

Shimla, Aug 14 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh police have implemented stringent security measures and intensified patrolling throughout the state following a series of alleged threatening incidents involving separatist groups ahead of Independence Day celebrations in the state.
The latest development involves an alleged death threat made against Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu.
Manali MLA Bhuvneshwar Gaur recently reported receiving a recorded phone call from an unknown source, which included a threat to assassinate the Chief Minister on August 15.
