HP ministers rebut Nadda’s remarks, raise concern over financial support

Shimla, June 13 (UNI): Himachal Pradesh Education Minister Rohit Thakur and Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani strongly rebutted the statements made by union Health Minister and senior BJP leader Jagat Prakash Nadda, asserting that the people of the state deserve facts, tangible outcomes and meaningful support rather than political claims and self-congratulatory narratives.
Addressing a joint press conference on Saturday, the ministers said that as one of the most senior leaders from Himachal Pradesh holding a key position in the union Government, Nadda carries greater responsibility towards the state. They said people expect him to effectively represent Himachal Pradesh's financial interests, developmental priorities and concerns at the national level.
The ministers observed that Himachal Pradesh has historically witnessed significant progress whenever there has been constructive coordination between the Centre and the state government.

Ladakh bans chemical fertilisers, moves to become India's largest organic region

Srinagar, July 18 (UNI) The union Territory of Ladakh has taken a decisive leap towards becoming India's largest certified organic region by enforcing a complete ban on the use and sale of any chemical and synthetic fertiliser for agricultural practices in Ladakh.
With the order coming into force, the procurement, distribution, sale, marketing and use of chemical/synthetic fertilisers will be strictly prohibited with immediate effect, across the union Territory. Any violation in this regard, will attract a minimum fine of Rs 10,000.
