HP: Family alleges evidence tampering in Vimal Negi death case

Shimla, Apr 20 (UNI) The family of late Vimal Negi, General Manager of Himachal Power Corporation, has raised concerns over the ongoing police investigation into his mysterious death.
Alleging "deliberate tampering and suppression of evidence", Vimal Negi’s wife, Kiran Negi, accused the authorities of "shielding" influential individuals by diverting the probe away from the real culprits.
Drawing a chilling parallel with the infamous Gudiya case in which the police had faced massive public backlash for alleged destruction of key evidence, Negi claimed that a similar attempt to "sabotage the investigation" is being made in her husband's case.
