HP: Babbu Maan sets stage ablaze at Punjabi Star Night during Kangra Valley Carnival

Dharamshala, Dec 29 (UNI) The sixth day of Kangra Valley Carnival–2025 witnessed an electrifying Punjabi Star Night as renowned Punjabi singer Babbu Maan enthralled thousands with his powerful and soulful performance, turning the evening into a grand celebration of music and enthusiasm.
As Babbu Maan stepped onto the stage, the packed venue erupted in applause and cheers. His popular and emotionally charged songs kept the audience—especially the youth—dancing and swaying till late into the night. The entire carnival arena resonated with vibrant music, dazzling lights and festive fervour.
The cultural evening was graced by HP Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) Chairman (Cabinet Rank) R.S. Bali as the chief guest. Performances by Sushi, Rohit Vohra and Varsha Katoch also received warm appreciation from the audience, while local artistes added further charm and dignity to the programme.
Earlier in the day, various activities organised by self-help groups saw enthusiastic participation, reflecting strong community involvement in the carnival.
Honouring Babbu Maan on the occasion, R.S. Bali described the day as a special moment for the state and Kangra district. He said such festivals not only provide entertainment but also strengthen social harmony, cultural unity and positive energy in society.
Bali added that events like the Kangra Valley Carnival serve as a strong platform to showcase the state’s rich cultural heritage, folk arts and local talent at the national level.
Emphasising the role of music and culture in uniting people, he said such platforms help connect the youth with their roots while offering artistes valuable opportunities to display their talent.
Among those present were HRTC Vice-Chairman Ajay Verma, Dharamshala Municipal Corporation Mayor Neenu Sharma, former Mayor Devendra Jaggi, former Congress candidate from Dharamshala Vijay Inder Karn, former MLA Surinder Kaku, Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa, Superintendent of Police Ashok Ratna, Additional Deputy Commissioner Vinay Kumar, ADM Shilpi Beakta, and other dignitaries.
