Hooda, Kiran George clinch singles crowns at Odisha Masters

Cuttack, Dec 15 (UNI) India’s Unnati Hooda and Kiran George emerged victorious in the women’s and men’s singles events, respectively, at the Odisha Masters 2025 badminton tournament, which concluded at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
According to Olympics.com, top seed Unnati Hooda delivered a composed performance in the women’s singles final, defeating compatriot Isharani Baruah 21-17, 21-10 in a contest lasting just over 30 minutes.
Ranked 28th in the world, Hooda controlled the rallies throughout, preventing world No. 53 Baruah from building the momentum that had driven her impressive run at the BWF Super 100 event.
