Hit-and-Run claims life in Chamba; Case registered

Dharamshala, Apr 10 (UNI) A Chamba resident lost his life in a hit-and-run incident reported under the jurisdiction of Shahpur Police Station, in Kàngra, police said here today.
Kàngra district Superintendent of Police Ashok Rattan told UNI, that according to information, the incident occurred on April 9 at Puhra in Kàngra district falling under Shahpur police station, where an unidentified driver, allegedly driving at high speed, hit Chaman Lal, a resident of village Nadle, post office Parchhod, tehsil Bhattiyat in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh.
SSP said that the accused driver fled the spot along with the vehicle after the accident.
