Hindi to be official language as J&K and Ladakh will get UT status on Oct 31 : Tarun Chugh

Chandigarh, Oct 30 (UNI) BJP national secretary Tarun Chugh on Wednesday said as Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will get Union Territory status on October 31, the best thing is that now Urdu will no longer be the first and official language of the state.
“Hindi will be the first and official language of the state, from Thursday,” Mr Chugh said.
He said that the new Union Territories would come into being on October 31, the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.
