Himachal's Shimla police arrest two interstate drug suppliers

Shimla, May 13 (UNI) While claiming significant success in dismantling organised supply chains during 2026, Shimla district Police arrested two major suppliers linked to interstate drug trafficking cases registered under the NDPS Act.
According to police, acting on the leads developed during investigation, a team of Boileuganj Police Station arrested Gurmeet, son of Kashmir Singh, resident of village and post office Mahmuana in Faridkot district of Punjab, from Ludhiana on Tuesday.
The accused, aged 27 years, is alleged to be the supplier of the seized heroin consignment. Police said further investigation in the case is underway.

Head Constable held for taking Rs 50,000 bribe in Gurugram
