Himachal's Rs 7.41 crore zipline project aims to boost Dharamshala tourism

Shimla, Jun 14 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh is set to strengthen its adventure tourism infrastructure with the development of a proposed eco-adventure zipline project at Naddi near Dharamshala, a venture expected to boost tourist arrivals, generate employment, and support sustainable economic growth in the region once completed.
The project, being developed at an estimated cost of Rs 7.41 crore under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, forms part of the state government's efforts to promote eco-friendly tourism and diversify visitor experiences in the Kangra district.
According to the official spokesperson on Sunday said that the proposed zipline will stretch about 4.3 kilometres from the Gallu Devi Temple area and pass over scenic locations including Bal Village, Naddi and Maggie Point Khud. Once operational, it is expected to offer visitors panoramic views of the Dhauladhar mountain range, forests and valleys while providing a unique adventure tourism experience, he added.
