Himachal: Governor pays obeisance at Jawalamukhi temple

Dharamshala, Apr 21 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Monday visited Jawalamukhi temple at Jawalamukhi town in Kangra district, one of the 52 Shakti peeths, and paid obeisance before the goddess who is being worshipped in the form of a flame.
He bowed his head at the feet of Goddess Jawalamukhi and offered prayers. He prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of this hill state.
Secretary to Governor C.P. Verma, Deputy Commissioner Kangra Hemraj Bairwa, Superintendent of Police Mayank Chaudhary and other officers of the district administration were also present.

Mild tremor jolts Chamba, no damage reported
