Himachal: Body of missing HPPCL Chief Engineer recovered

Shimla, Mar 18 (UNI) The body of Vimal Negi, Chief Engineer (Electrical) of the Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL), was recovered at Satlai in Bilaspur district on Tuesday, police saidt.
Negi had been missing since March 10, prompting widespread concern and an extensive search operation.
Negi, the younger brother of Ramesh Negi, retired Chief Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh, was last seen in Ghumarwin near Kandraur around 12:30 PM on March 10. He had hired a taxi from Shimla to Ghumarwin and was reportedly seen walking towards the Bharari-Jahu road.
