Himachal apple growers supplying over 100 boxes must submit land records

Shimla, Jan 12 (UNI) Apple growers producing more than 100 boxes of apples in Himachal Pradesh will be required to submit land ownership details while claiming payments under the Market Intervention Scheme (MIS), according to the Managing Director of the HPMC.
The MD said that as per the revised MIS guidelines, growers supplying over 100 boxes must furnish revenue documents such as Khata and Khatoni to establish land ownership and ensure proper verification of claims.
"The measure has been introduced to bring greater transparency and prevent misuse of the scheme in cases involving large quantities of produce," he said.
