Himachal: 140 juvenile diabetics registered in Tanda Medical College

Kangra, Mar 25 (UNI) Type 1 Diabetes has become more prevalent among children in Himachal Pradesh, with 140 such cases registered in Dr Rajender Prasad Govt. Medical College Tanda alone, authorities said on Tuesday.
Eight children have been selected for insulin pumps, which cost nearly Rs. 3 lakhs, and four children were put on such pumps during the day.
Often children die because of difficulty in diagnosis and sudden deterioration in their health condition.

₹1 crore cash seized from car in Rohtak; four detained

Chandigarh, Nov 11 (UNI) Haryana Police on Tuesday seized ₹1 crore in cash from a car during a routine check near Jalebi Chowk underpass in Rohtak. The money, mostly in ₹500 denomination notes, was found stuffed inside two backpacks carried by the passengers.
