High turnout in Bihar a signal of vote for change: Prashant Kishor

Patna, Nov 9 (UNI) Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor on Sunday dubbed the high voter turnout in the first phase of the Bihar assembly elections as "a strong signal of change of regime" in Bihar.
Kishor told media persons that 65.08 percent polling in the first phase of Bihar assembly elections on November 6, was a historic event in the democratic history of the state. It was a strong indication of the fact that people of Bihar had voted for "change of regime" in the state, he noted.
"It is good that people of Bihar have taken a strong step for change of regime and a new arrangement would come in place for taking sincere steps to solve problems being faced by people of the state," the Jan Suraaj leader said, adding that he had always been creating awareness among the people to think for themselves before casting their votes. He appealed to people of Bihar for increasing the polling percentage further during the second phase of assembly elections on November 11.
