Helicopter lost over Russia's Yakutia found destroyed, passengers dead

Moscow, July 22 (UNI) A Robinson helicopter that went missing last week over Russia's Sakha Republic (Yakutia) has been found fully destroyed, and the bodies of a pilot and three passengers have been located as well, the East Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office said on Monday.
"According to the information provided by the head of the Sakha interregional territorial administration of [Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency] Rosaviatsiya, a completely destroyed Robinson aircraft was found in the course of search and rescue activities. The bodies of a pilot and three passengers were also located," the office said on Telegram.
On Friday, the helicopter disappeared 80 kilometers (50 miles) away from the village of Chagda in the Sakha Republic. Following the incident, the Yakutsk Transport Prosecutor's Office launched an inspection into flight safety.
