Heavy rains disrupt life in Ahilyanagar, villages cut off, crops damaged

Ahilyanagar (Maharashtra), Sep 15 (UNI) For the last three days, heavy rains have lashed the district including Ahilyanagar city. Due to this rain, normal life in urban and rural areas has been completely disrupted and rivers and drains have been flooded.
In particular, Pathardi taluka has suffered extensive damage due to the cloudburst-like rains that occurred after midnight today. The intensity of the rains has increased since 3 am, causing flooding in many villages.
The western part of Pathardi taluka has been hit the hardest by this heavy rain. Due to this heavy rain, which has been going on for several hours, communication between many villages including Karanji and Madhi has been lost.
