Heat wave conditions to prevail in UP for next three days

Lucknow, Apr 24 (UNI) Heat wave-like conditions are likely to continue for the next three days in most of parts of Uttar Pradesh, which are in the grip of severe heat, while there is a possibility of strong storm and showers in eastern parts of the state from April 27 and in the entire state from April 29.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain generally dry in most parts of the state in the next 48 hours. Heat wave will trouble people during this period. However, there is a possibility of a slight drop in temperature due to drizzle in eastern UP from April 27.
The period of immediate change in the weather is expected to continue till April 30 and western UP is also expected to get relief from drizzle from April 29.

Dehradun, Jan 13 (UNI) The Uttarakhand government has asked the centre for more than Rs15,000 crore required as losses incurred in the 2025 natural disasters in the Post Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA) prepared recently. The first PDNA report prepared by any state government in the country was submitted to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) by Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority (USDMA).
