Patna, May 27 (UNI) Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey today claimed that his department was not only providing quality service to people to fight Corona pandemic but also carrying out awareness drive to achieve this goal convincingly.
Mr Pandey said here that besides providing quality service to people to enable them to fight Corona pandemic, the state government had also made all required arrangements to protect them from other diseases like Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES), Japanese Encephalitis (JE), Kala-Azar (Black fever) and Heat Wave. Corona pandemic was well under control at present as there had been remarkable increase in recovery rate and sharp decline in positivity rate in past few days, he added.
The Minister said that Health department had received a total of 1.08 Crore dosage of Corona vaccines from the Centre and state government and 1.03 Crore of them had been utilised so far. As per records available till May 26, a total of 4.77 lakh dosages of vaccines were kept in stores at various places of the state, he informed
