HC pulls up advocate for 'Judicial Terrorism' Remark, issues show cause notice

Nagpur, July 15 (UNI) The Bombay High Court has initiated action against an advocate for describing court proceedings in his client's case as an instance of "judicial terrorism", observing that such remarks constitute an unjustified attack on the dignity of the judiciary.
A Division Bench of the Nagpur Bench comprising Justices Anil Pansare and Rajnish Vyas, in an order dated July 13, issued a show cause notice to advocate V. A. Kothale, directing him to explain why his conduct should not be referred to the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa for appropriate disciplinary action.
The matter arose during the hearing of a petition filed by a retired school teacher seeking directions to her former employer to release pending salary arrears, provident fund and gratuity.
