Haveus Aerotech builds India’s largest DGCA approved Avionics MRO Hub

New Delhi, Aug 21 (UNI) In another landmark accomplishment, Haveus Aerotech India Pvt Ltd, India’s most advanced and fastest growing Maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) service provider, has created India’s largest and the first DGCA approved Avionics MRO hub at its Gurugram facility which will soon have the capability to repair and overhaul over 3000 avionics components.
The upgraded facility will also have complete design facility for retrofitment and modification of civil and defence aircraft.
Haveus Aerotech has already invested over 1.5 million dollar for upgradation of its facility at Gurugram (Gurgaon). To ensure world class expertise and service standards, it has also tied up with Italy based firm - Jet Avionics – an acknowledged leader in avionics management.
Commenting on this, Anshul Bhargava, CMD, Haveus Aerotech India Pvt Ltd, said, “The upgraded facility is designed to service and repair over 3000 types of avionics components of defence and civil aircraft in the near future. It will be equipped to provide a complete range of avionics maintenance, overhaul and installation for small, large, single and multi-engine aircraft.”
The design facility will also provide retrofitment and modification of aircraft avionics systems such as Weather Radar, GPS Systems, FDR, COM and NAV, Radios and TAWS.
In addition, the facility already has the capability to service and overhaul avionics components like headphone, ground headset, megaphone, ELTs, magneto, alternator, starter, life vest, life jackets etc. along with galley equipment like water boilers, hot jug, oven, coffee makers, food trolley carts etc.
Haveus Aerotech is already an authorised service centre of Artex & Kannad for ELT programming, re-programming, battery replacement and testing.
This facility will offer significant cost saving and lower turnaround time for operators, thereby lowering operational cost for airlines within a stone throw away distance from India’s largest international airport i.e. IGI Airport, New Delhi.
