Haryana: Miscreants vandalize statue of martyr

Kalayat, May 17 (UNI) Unknown miscreants allegedly vandalized the statue of martyr Karmchand, installed on Kisan Road in the village Balu, Gadra Patti.
Unknown individuals vandalized the statue late last night. The statue's neck was severed from the torso, causing anger among the villagers.
The village council has filed a complaint with the Kalayat police station. In the complaint, village sarpanch Dinesh Kumar stated that Sepoy Karmchand from his village was martyred in the 1962 war. His statue was vandalized by some miscreant. The face of Sepoy Karmchand was severed and thrown down.

Haryana Patwari caught taking bribe to clear crop compensation claims
