Haryana govt calls striking doctors for talks as protest reaches HC

Chandigarh, Dec 11 (UNI) The standoff between the Haryana government and striking government doctors entered fourth day on Thursday with the state administration summoning the agitating medical staff for a meeting in Chandigarh.
The government had agreed to three out of the four major demands raised by the doctors on Wednesday, paving the way for possible resolution.
Despite the partial breakthrough, tension escalated in Panchkula when police arrived to clear the protest site. Officers urged doctors to limit the sit-in to only three representatives and asked the rest to resume duties. However, the protesters refused, insisting that they would not withdraw until the scheduled meeting concluded.
