Harmanpreet tops chart for most runs in WWC knockouts

Navi Mumbai, Nov 2 (UNI) India captain Harmanpreet Kaur has become the leading run-scorer in the history of Women’s ODI World Cup knockout matches, amassing 331 runs in just four innings — the most by any player in tournament knockouts.
Harmanpreet surpassed Australia’s Belinda Clark, who had scored 330 runs in six innings. Others in the elite list include Alyssa Healy (309 runs in four innings), Nat Sciver-Brunt (281 in five), and Debbie Hockley (240 in five).
Known for her ability to rise in pressure situations, Harmanpreet once again displayed her big-match temperament during India’s campaign, anchoring the innings with precision and flair in the WWC final against South Africa.
