Hardships of Gulf workers are heartbreaking: KTR

Hyderabad, July 14 (UNI) BRS Working President and former minister K T Rama Rao (KTR) expressed deep concern over the hardships faced by Gulf workers, describing their situation as heartbreaking.
Speaking at the launch of the book “Meka Batuku” written by Swarna Kilari at Prasad Labs on Sunday, KTR shared his personal experience of visiting Dubai and witnessing the challenging conditions in which the workers live.
KTR remarked, "Hearing and seeing the hardships of the Gulf workers is heartbreaking. It is sad to see the conditions they are living in there." He mentioned previous efforts to formulate a policy for Gulf workers and highlighted the work done through the company Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Limited (TOMCOM),, emphasising the need for more comprehensive efforts.
