H-NEW deports Nigerian national for overstaying and alleged drug links

Hyderabad, Feb 16 (UNI) The Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) has apprehended and deported a Nigerian national for overstaying in India without valid documents and allegedly associating with drug suppliers and peddlers.
Acting on credible information, H-NEW arrested Ikechukwu Sylvester Mbah (40) on February 5 while he was wandering suspiciously in the Humayun Nagar Police Station limits.
Upon questioning, he failed to provide a satisfactory response or produce valid documents confirming his legal stay in Hyderabad, a police statement said on Sunday.
