Gunfire, alleged drug party at former MLA’s farmhouse trigger sensation near Hyderabad

Hyderabad, March 15 (UNI) A late-night incident involving alleged drug consumption and gunfire at the farmhouse of former MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy in Moinabad of Ranga Reddy district created a major stir on Saturday night.
According to the police, information received around 9PM that a liquor and suspected drug party was being held at the BMR farmhouse in the Aziznagar area without permission. Acting on the tip-off, the Eagle Team, Special Operations Team (SOT) and local police conducted a raid around 9.30 pm.
During the raid, panic reportedly broke out at the venue and shots were fired into the air. Police said Delhi-based real estate businessman Nameed Mishra allegedly opened fire using a revolver that belonged to Ritesh Reddy. The weapon has been seized.
