Gujarati blockbuster 'Laalo' dominates Sony Max, becomes the No. 1 channel during its world TV premiere

Mumbai, June 9 (UNI) The world television premiere of Gujarati blockbuster film "Laalo-Krishna Sada Sahaayate" on Sony MAX received a tremendous response from the audience, with the channel emerging as the number one channel in the HSM Urban category in its time slot.
According to information released by the channel, the world TV premiere of the regionally popular film took the movie beyond the Gujarati audience and reached Hindi-speaking audiences across the country.
According to broadcast data, the film's premiere garnered 2 million AMA (SD HD) views, becoming the most-watched film in its category during Week 20 in HSM Urban. In Gujarat Urban, the premiere garnered 1.1 million AMA (SD HD), making it the third most-watched premiere in the category since June 2025. A total of 8.4 million viewers watched the film's premiere nationwide. These figures are based on TG15 data from Broadcast Audience Research Council India.
A Sony Max spokesperson said that for the channel, every film is not just a medium of entertainment, but also an opportunity to connect and provide a shared experience. He added that the audience's love for "Laalo" is proof that the popularity of family entertainment films continues to thrive.
