Green Gold Animation Launches FAST Channel ‘Green Gold TV’ on Samsung TV Plus

Hyderabad, June 2 (UNI) Green Gold Animation, one of India’s leading creators of original animated entertainment, on Tuesday announced the launching of its dedicated Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) channel, Green Gold TV, on Samsung TV Plus.
Available to Samsung TV households across India, the channel is positioned within the Kids category and offers a seamless, always-on viewing experience without any subscription or login requirements, the Hyderabad based Green gold said in a release here.
The launch marks a significant step in Green Gold Animation’s expansion into the connected TV space, bringing a curated line-up of popular titles including Mighty Raju, Super Bheem, Krishna Balram, Krishna, Chorr Police and Luv Kushh directly to television screens.
Designed as a 24x7 linear channel, Green Gold TV will follow a structured programming schedule, with weekdays largely dedicated to episodic content, accounting for nearly 70 per cent of the programming lineup, while weekends will feature movie premieres.
The channel will be available in Hindi and is aimed at both children and family audiences.
The launch comes as the FAST model gains traction in India, driven by the increasing adoption of connected televisions and growing demand for high-quality, easily accessible content.
Through its partnership with Samsung TV Plus, which has surpassed 100 million active users globally across 30 countries, Green Gold Animation aims to reach a rapidly expanding audience increasingly embracing ad-supported streaming services.
Commenting on the launch, Rajiv Chilaka, Founder and CEO of Green Gold Animation, said television in India has traditionally been defined by platform-controlled access, while digital platforms have offered greater choice but often in a fragmented manner.
“Platforms like Samsung TV Plus are helping bridge that gap by bringing back simplicity without compromising on scale. With Green Gold TV, we are becoming part of a viewing experience that is more aligned with how families consume content today—effortless, continuous and shared. I believe FAST will evolve into a foundational layer of the entertainment ecosystem, and this is our early step in that direction,” he said.
Kunal Mehta, General Manager and Head of Business Development, Samsung TV Plus India, said the partnership strengthens the platform’s kids’ content offering while enhancing family viewing experiences through trusted and high-quality entertainment.
“Through collaborations with partners such as Green Gold Animation, Samsung TV Plus India continues to build an always-on, curated entertainment platform that reduces friction and delivers more accessible, meaningful choice for viewers,” he added.
