Grand state-level full Statehood Day function to be held at Pragpur

Dharamshala, Jan 13 (UNI) A grand and dignified state-level function to mark Himachal Pradesh’s Full Statehood Day will be organised this year on January 25, at the sports ground of Government Senior Secondary School (Boys), Pragpur, in presence of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu who will attend the ceremony as the chief guest.
This was stated by Kangra Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa while presiding over a meeting held at the NIC Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office here on Monday to review preparations for the event. Detailed discussions were held on various arrangements, and necessary directions were issued to concerned departments.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all departments to work in close coordination to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the programme and to complete all preparations within the stipulated time. He issued special instructions regarding security arrangements, traffic management, stage decoration, invitations, drinking water, sanitation, electricity, medical facilities and other logistics.
