Govt pushes for HPTDC HQ shift to Dharamshala, seeks adjustment of outsourced staff

Shimla, July 15 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Government has taken a step forward in relocating the headquarters of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) from Shimla to Dharamshala, directing the Tourism Department to ensure adjustment of outsourced employees before the final shift.
A formal communication to this effect, dated July 14 and signed by Special Secretary (Tourism) Vijay Kumar, confirms the Cabinet's approval of the proposal during its meeting on June 28.
The letter, addressed to the Director of Tourism and Civil Aviation, seeks details of the building where the headquarters will be moved in Dharamshala. It clearly states that outsourced staff must be accommodated in other HPTDC offices still operating from Shimla before the shift is implemented.

BHU researchers identify 47 rare genetic disorders in children

Varanasi, Jun 16 (UNI) A team at the Center for Genetic Disorders at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has successfully enrolled over 300 patients with rare genetic disorders from Varanasi and surrounding districts under the "Mission Program on Pediatric Rare Disorders."
The study, led by Professor Parimal Das, conducted under this research, has identified 47 rare disorders. Most of the identified rare diseases are neurological disorders, with neuromuscular, ophthalmic, skeletal, and cardiac disorders also included.

Lucknow, Jun 16(UNI) The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Tuesday expressed serious concern over allegations of irregularities and misappropriation in the donations received by the Ayodhya Ram Temple Trust.
The party has demanded a fair and transparent investigation into the entire matter and called for the immediate registration of an FIR on the basis of prima facie evidence of corruption and financial irregularities that have come to light.
