Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar urges students to uphold agricultural values

Ranchi, Nov 12 (UNI) Jharkhand Governor-cum-Chancellor of State Universities, Santosh Kumar Gangwar on Wednesday addressed the 8th Convocation Ceremony of Birsa Agricultural University (BAU), Ranchi, congratulating all the degree and research scholars on their academic achievements.
He said that a convocation is not merely a celebration of success but the beginning of a new journey filled with dedication, learning, perseverance, and self-confidence. “Students are the true bearers of a university’s prestige and identity,” he remarked.
The Governor emphasized that the soul of India resides in its villages, and the soul of villages lies in agriculture. Describing agriculture as more than a means of production, he said it embodies the country’s culture, traditions, environment, and philosophy of life.
