Google for Startups AI Academy India Bootcamp concludes

Kochi, Nov 9 (UNI) A three-day intensive bootcamp, part of the Google for Startups AI Academy India-2024, concluded at the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) in Kalamassery on Friday.
The program is designed to help early-stage startups harness Artificial Intelligence (AI) to address global challenges across sectors like healthcare, climate, agriculture, education, financial inclusion, and infrastructure.
Supported by MeitY Startup Hub, the bootcamp welcomed 24 startups for hands-on training, expert mentorship, access to Google’s AI technologies, access up to USD 350,000 cloud credits, and opportunity to network with world class companies.
KSUM CEO Anoop Ambika said the program aims to provide essential resources, expert guidance, training, and infrastructure for development. He expressed pride in Kerala's selection as a location for this prestigious initiative, showcasing the state's cutting-edge standards.
The 3-day bootcamp provided support to startups leveraging or looking to leverage AI with specialized resources, mentorships, training and access to infrastructure around the Start, Build, Grow theme.
The three day programme discussed how to design human-centered, secure AI solutions through workshops on People + AI, Responsible AI, and product design, building AI solutions using Google technologies, with hands-on workshops on Generative AI, app development, and Web AI, along with technical mentoring and strategies for taking AI solutions to market, including AI-powered marketing, fundraising, storytelling & growth-focused mentoring.
The program is being held in 6 other cities across India in partnership with T-Hub & MATH, IHFC-IIT Delhi, NSRCEL IIM Bangalore, SINE IIT Bombay, IIT Madras Incubation Cell and IIMA Ventures along with nasscom AI and People+ai from November to December 2024.
