Gondia records season’s lowest temperature at 10.4°C

Nagpur, Nov 10 (UNI) The much-anticipated winter chill has finally descended on Vidarbha, with Gondia recording a minimum temperature of 10.4°C, marking the coldest morning of the season so far.
In eastern Vidarbha, Gondia emerged as the coldest spot, followed by Nagpur, which registered 12.2°C. The cool spell, arriving later than usual, has now spread across the region, signalling the true onset of winter.
Typically, Nagpur experiences a drop in temperatures by late October. However, this year’s seasonal shift was delayed due to changing weather patterns, cyclonic activity—particularly Cyclone ‘Montha’—and other atmospheric disturbances.
