Gold worth Rs 58.8 lakhs seized at RGIA, Hyderabad

Hyderabad, June 25 (UNI) Customs officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Shamshabad, seized 806 grams of gold worth Rs 58.8 lakhs from an air passenger on Tuesday.

The yellow metal, in paste form, was confiscated from a passenger who arrived from Abu Dhabi, according to customs officials.

The gold was concealed in the rectum. Further investigation is underway, the sources added.
