Godrej Security Solutions launches tech-enabled safe range tailored for homes and jewellery businesses

Hyderabad, Apr 23 (UNI) Godrej Security Solutions, a division of the Godrej Enterprises Group, unveiled a cutting-edge range of premium, technology-integrated security products in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
The new lineup, including the Defender Aurum Pro Royal Class E Safe, is engineered to meet the high-security demands of jewellery businesses, providing BIS-certified, high-capacity protection for valuable inventories.
At a press conference, Pushkar Gokhale, Business Head of Godrej Security Solutions, announced the launch of seven new products, developed after extensive consumer research. “We engaged with customers to understand their daily challenges in securing assets and have designed these products to address their specific needs,” he said.
Among the notable additions is the AccuGold iEDX Series, which offers non-destructive gold testing—a critical feature for jewellery retailers, hallmarking centres, and banks involved in gold loans. Also introduced were Godrej MX modular strong room panels, designed for locations where constructing traditional RCC strong rooms is not feasible.
In the home segment, new products such as NX Pro Slide, NX Pro Luxe, Rhino Regal, and NX Seal combine aesthetic appeal with smart security features like dual-mode access (digital and biometric), intelligent alarm systems (Ibuzz), concealed storage compartments, and sleek, modern interiors.
Gokhale emphasised the importance of BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) compliance, urging customers to verify the ISI mark on high-security products before purchase. “The Government of India now mandates all manufacturers to ensure their products meet BIS standards. It's essential for consumers to stay informed and cautious,” he noted.
Godrej has a strong presence in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with over 500 retail outlets and a market share of 80 per cent in home lockers and 60 per cent in the B2B segment. The region contributes approximately Rs 150 crore to the company’s overall annual revenue of Rs 1,200 crore. Of this total revenue, 10 per cent comes from exports.
The company is also investing in experience centres—including a recently opened facility in Vijayawada—to provide hands-on demonstrations of their full product range and to educate customers about smart security solutions.
Looking ahead, Godrej is focusing on emerging technologies such as IoT integration, artificial intelligence, face recognition, and OTP-based access systems. These innovations are especially being tailored for banking institutions and other high-security sectors.
Godrej also exports to markets across the US, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Africa, with its products holding over 170 global certifications, including European grade certifications, further enhancing the company's credibility and reach.
“This is not just a product launch; it’s a step towards revolutionising how India—and the world—approaches security,” Gokhale added.
