Girls once again outscore boys in 10th Std TN board exams

Chennai, May 20 (UNI) Girls once again outscored boys as Tamil Nadu recorded an overall pass percentage of 94.31 in the 10th standard SSLC board exams, the results of which were announced on Wednesday.
This year's results showed an increase of 0.15 percentage points compared to last year.The pass percentage last year was 93.80 percent, which was higher than 91.55 per cent in 2024 and 91.39 per cent in 2023. In 2022, the overall pass percentage stood at 90.07 per cent.
Tamil Nadu had recorded a 100 per cent pass percentage in both 2021 and 2020, when examinations were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and alternative assessment methods were adopted.
