George W. Bush congratulates Trump on election win

Washington, Nov 6 (UNI) Former US President George W. Bush on Wednesday congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the US presidential election.
Former Republican president Bush did not make any endorsement in the 2024 race, unlike his former Vice President Dick Cheney, who supported Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.
"I congratulate President Trump on his election as 47th President of the United States of America, as well as Vice President-elect J.D. Vance and their families. I also thank President [Joe] Biden and Vice President Harris for their service to our country," Bush said in a statement.
