Gehlot demands inquiry in matter of 'extra - hidden' cameras in Rajasthan assembly

Jaipur, Sep 13 (UNI) Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has demanded appropriate inquiry in the matter of "extra- hidden" cameras in the state assembly allegedly to keep a tab on the opposition Congress MLAs.
Talking to the media here on Saturday, the senior Congress leader said -"Just see, they have installed two extra cameras - in addition to the usual ones fitted in the House for live telecast of the procceding of the House. The control system of those extra cameras is in the Speaker's Chamber, only the Speaker or his PS can view or listen from those cameras."
"This is a serious issue, they have committed serious crime, which deserves appropriate inquiry. Why should those be installed when usual (official) set of cameras was in place there for official live telecast. They had no right (power) to do so," Gehlot said. "
