Gangster linked to Bhagwanpuria network nabbed in Batala; 2 pistols seized

Chandigarh, Nov 12 (UNI) In an operation under the ongoing drive to make Punjab safer, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Punjab, in coordination with Batala police, arrested an active member of the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang and recovered two sophisticated pistols from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Gurlove Singh alias Love Randhawa, a resident of Ujagar Nagar in Batala. Police said the seized weapons include one Zegana pistol with a magazine and three live cartridges, and one .30 bore pistol with two magazines and 13 live cartridges.
Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav said preliminary investigation indicated the accused was acting under the instructions of his foreign-based handler, Amrit Dalam. Further investigation is underway to trace his local and international connections.
