Funds remained unspent under AAP, says Nadda; Ayushman vans flagged off

New Delhi, July 6 (UNI) BJP President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda today criticised the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for failing to utilize Rs 1,700 crore allocated under the Ayushman Bharat Health Mission between 2021 to February 2025.
“Not a single rupee was spent by the previous Delhi government and that the responsibility now lies with the new Chief Minister Rekha Gupta,” Nadda said at an event here marked to launch Ayushman Bharat registration vans and appointment letters distribution to over 1,300 nursing officers.
Nadda accused AAP of letting "pride" interfere with public welfare, preventing poor citizens from benefiting from free health coverage of Rs 5 lakh annually since 2017. He announced that under the new Delhi government, 1,200 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs will be established, focusing on preventive and inclusive healthcare.
