From tragedy to triumph: Para cricketer Amir Lone inspires young players in Ludhiana

Chandigarh, Jan 21 (UNI) Para cricket trials held in Ludhiana turned into an inspiring session as renowned para cricketer Amir Hussain Lone interacted with aspiring players, sharing his extraordinary journey and motivating them to chase their dreams despite physical challenges.
Amir Lone, who does not have both arms, addressed young para cricketers and demonstrated how he continues to excel in both batting and bowling with rhythm and control. His presence boosted morale among participants, many of whom are taking their first steps into competitive para cricket.
While narrating his life story, Amir became emotional and urged players not to see disability as defeat. Drawing a cricketing analogy, he said that even if five balls in an over result in no runs, the sixth delivery can still change the game. He encouraged them to build the courage to “hit a six on the last ball” of life.
