French national held on charge of assaulting CISF officer at Airport

Panaji, Aug 24 (UNI) Goa Police have booked a French National and arrested him for allegedly assaulting a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at Dabolim Airport at Vasco in South Goa on Thursday.
According to Vasco Police Station In-charge Nolasco Raposo, Vairet Guillam, the accused resident of Caluire-et-Cuire in France, was arrested under section 353 of the Indian Penal Code (assaulting government servant while discharging duty).
He had allegedly assaulted CISF Sub Inspector Chandra Bhushan at the airport.

Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) expressed deep sorrow over the death of a farmer, Gugulothu Kishan (51), who reportedly died of heatstroke while waiting at a crop procurement centre in Pochampally village, Pedda Wangara mandal of Mahabubabad district.

Ten dedicated grievance redressal cells set up for benefit of farmers: Minister Shirsat

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, May 12 (UNI) Maharashtra Social Justice Minister and Guardian Minister of the district Sanjay Shirsat on Monday said that 10 dedicated grievance redressal cells have been established, one at the district level and one at each taluka level for the benefit of farmers, and a helpline number and WhatsApp number has been made available to farmers to address their grievances.
